After reading some posts here about some users unable to get to the server at a certain times I decided to contact Mr. Wolf Roth the managing director at creamware audio directly about this subject to see what he has to say.

Dear Antar,
Thank you for your concerns. However from time to time we receive messages about our server being down.
Behind most of these emails it's not the server being down, but former
automated registration service being not active.
Please note, that this does not mean the server is down.
In fact the website is working properly, but we had to deactivate online
registration due to massive fake registrations with oxe requests which
caused server problems because of numerous denial of service errors.
That's the reason why we decided to do any registration procedure from
change in address to software registration manually for the moment.

So I guess for the time being it is advised to contact support@creamware.de directly for registrations/key codes/key generations.
Ah.....and don't forget the SN of the card when emailing.
