Hi
I am getting the urge to record some music after a 2 year battle with cancer some deep hard dubtec to rid some tension. I am having a problem with the chord hit sounds check link to hear what I mean I would love to make the sounds with a Creamware synths and fx any ideas besides sampling?

The ultimate dub echo for me is Space F's Echo35 which is available as part of his BlackBox or i think you can still get it separately (i may be wrong about that).

Wow that's some cool stuff. Sounds a bit like Basic Channel or Maurizio but er... dubbier!? We musn't forget this great dub device:

It does have a few bugs though. I find I have to remove & reapply CC values when I try to have automation setup (used to swamp the mix with delay then clamp down again, typical dub style). Also to my ears it sounds a bit grainy or rough compared to stuff possible in modular (hint). Especially with flexor.

Still great for a freebie, and the CC stuff is probably due to be old.

dub is not so much a specific sound as it is a technique of deconstruction.....
