I don't want to be negative about planetZ, but lately I have the feeling that its grown a bit to big.

let me explain what I mean:
lately when I do a searh for a topic/problem I get so much BS and have more and more problems to find a topic back, wich I know is there.
before when you put a problem here on the forum people like At0m, Astroman, Nestor, Garyb, Marcuspocus and a few more I forget now(sorry), will reply, stick to the topic and give you good advices.

This has been the best resourse for my DAW problems, Scope related or not.

Now there is so much cross posting, or post not sticking to the topic. I get the feeling some people are only posting to get an higher rank.

I would ask the new comers to post all your BS in the off-topic forum. that what its there for.

Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way then consider this a BS-post and at least it in the wright forum.

regards
ps PlanetZ is still THE place to be.!!

Well, the huge amount of threads about the 4.5 update caused some confusion in some heads. The result were cross-posts, double posts and some BS, too.
I think, after these discussions we all will calm down and return to our daily work: to USE our beloved CW cards and software to make music as best as we can.
Maybe, a little bit more discipline in some sensible threads would be good (no names!! ). Sticking at the topics would really be very useful ...
So PlanetZ would keep on being the great and helpful forum of many peaceful and creative musicians from all over the world.

'Nuff said.

Cheers, Thomas

agree Virtualstudio!
Plus the irritating excessive quoting without any sense, specially when the post replies to the last one...it makes searching thrue several pages not easier.

I think PZ always goes "a bit mad" whenever Creamware announces some form of upgrade.

Who else remembers when v4 came out?

That was about two weeks of madness, then things calmed down again afterwards...

It's true. At the same time, we have to adapt to the new commers, it's natural that there are more posts having more people. In both sides we need to do an effort.

maybe a littkle update in the search forum, which lets you search within a timeframe might be helpful?

like3 alternatives: BEFORE a date, AFTER a date or WHITHIN a period of time.

Hoi,

How about topics that resume the contents of the post?

The topic is what will show up if I run a search soon when I find the url again, of this great howto for both people in trouble and for helpers. Do you think that when I see this topic after the search I will know what it's about? Consider that when filling out that top line of your post.

Just my 2cents,
