I've been crying to CWA since I bought their cards. You have to be thankful that GS3 even works with this platform. GS3 gives me the acoustic emulations that I need, and CWA does all the rest. With the exception of that DSP hungry cheezy Six String. Got all I need in one stable box, tweaked my way.
If they do make a driver for GS3, I will consider it a bonus. GS3 is still buggy with VST FX, Powercore, etc. But with all the stuff made for Scope, who on Earth would want to use VSTi's, or VST plugs? When I hear Waves, and other VST FX they sound good till you AB them alongside DSP based FX,i.e. Powercore, Scope. But it's the synths that caught my ear. I've been playing hardware for many years and believe me when I say that VST in it's present state is totally generic in comparison.

Buy Scope,Be Dope.

Yeah actually I think you're right,I've had the opportunity to use GS3 alongside my computer and I think the sts 4000,reads akai sample disks better, and that's without the effects.
P.S The Jimmy V.Reminds me of a Mexican Jimmy Vaughan Strat I had stolen, that really Pissed me off.

Hey if you like Joe, I bet you'd like Eric Johnson. I was humbled by his performance once. He was the opening act. The poor headliner must have felt like the Who when Hendrix played back in early 70's.

Didn't he play with Satch on G3 I've got John Petrucci on video, awesome,Left to right hand synchronisation is amazing, and a zakk wylde guitar lesson.Wylde's a better player,I don't know about the style and Petrucci's a great teacher, more fluent let's say I'll have to look at Eric Johnson.
I'll have to start a Guitar heros thread.

I need GSIF 2.0 drivers for my beloved Scope platform. I am not wealthy, but I'm rich and will pay. I'm sure that Tascam will charge you dearly, but by all means pass it on to me and others.

Creamware need not waste their time on GSIF 2 drivers, for I just realized that I can record the samples into STS 5000, then send to Translator for conversion to GS3. So I do have an all in the box solution. Besides I haven't heard STS yet, but I'm assuming that it has the same 32bit integer precision as VDAT, which I have heard. The only reason that we haven't seen Scope in the studios more is because Pro Tools has a lot more 3rd party support, there is no difference in the audio quality IMHO. I used Pro Tools w/ the first ADATs back in early 90's, and have always recorded w/ that app. w/ big analog consoles. I used TripleDat back in 97 and didn't even know it was from Creamware. That was a good sounding app. for the little project studio I worked in. Creamware has really put alot into their platform and I'm now starting to understand why they don't need to add new tricks w/ STS and streaming, GSIF 2, and all that extra stuff that only a few of us will use. It is up to the user to maximize his investment by learning every little detail that this underated company has already provided. I will continue to buy into this platform, for it is the Poor Mans Pro Tools. I hope that my recordings I do in the fall will bear fruit, and allow me to get into the production work which is getting rather busy around here lately. I will know more about my platform by then, and hope to get some serious jingle work. Studio by day, showrooms by night. The best of both worlds.
