I currently have SFP 3.1 (never upgraded to 4, because I had dial-up internet at the time and download kept stuffing up, so I thought, stuff it, 3.1 works fine)
But now I have upgraded to 4.5 (& want to start playing with some of my new synths)
To install 4.5, do I install over 3.1 or seperately eg can I have C:SFP(3.1) & also say C:ProgramfilesSFP(4.5) ?
Is it possible just to install my new plug -ins in 3.1 & what are the benefits to 4.5 over 3.1 ?(3.1 works well for me, there are one or two minor bugs, but these are not particularly annoying)
When people mention backing up, is this just projects, presets & 3rd party stuff?
Finally I also bought A100 reverb just before getting scope 4.5, I started intstalling in 3.1(& got as far as sending transfering string to SonicTimeworks & now I have my key, but haven't entered it yet), but then I thought oops if I install this in 3.1 will I need a new key for it to work in 4.5? (could I use they key I have, if I install 4.5, because I haven't entered it in 3.1 yet?)
any answers appreciated, thanks
