Hello guys. I am looking for a good, reliable hosting plan to host two web pages. I have signed up with Netfirms, but the operation as a whole has been a disaster, so I cancelled the whole thing and asked my money back, an hour ago.

I asked a Mexican friend of mine to pass me her credit card number so to get a plan, as I don’t have one myself, got it, but they took 26 days to try to setup the site (never did)… I was so fed up with them as they support is horrible, but I mean, absurdly horrid! Well, I am frustrated to death. I passed the whole 26 days emailing them, but they had such a confusion that could never get the site right, being something so simple. They answers were most of the time a repetition, or they were wrong, they would even send me emails a wrong address and ask me why I didn’t get the mail. Perhaps, the worst of all this is that the word “sorry” never appeared in their vocabulary, can you believe it? Never! They say your site can take a maximum of 72 hours to be ready for use. I think that a company with such a bad behaviour with their costumers cannot run well, or for a long time. I definitely do not recommend to use Netfirms as a web hosting, at all. I am very sorry to say so, anyway.

Said that, which hosting companies do you consider RESPONSIBLE that you KNOW, and TRUST? I don’t want any more troubles or romance mailing… I want to go sure this time.

I wanted to upload the bass library by the end of the year, or the beginning of this one, but could not do it, I’m sorry.

Any advice greatly appreciated, cheers

Very expensive compared to what there's in the market today, not worth it I think, but cheers for the link man

Well, after a good deal of mails going and coming and going and coming, i decided to make a few calls, despite the fact that from Chile you don’t have a toll free number, but well, I truly needed to find out what the heck was going on…

The point is that there were in fact, three accounts: the first was properly setup, but as there was a little problem with the credit card, they decided to cancel it. Then they opened a new one, and this one was wrongly setup, but they insisted that the site was properly configured… ok, finally, after 5 calls this morning and speaking to everybody out there, they setup a new account, and the problem seems to have come to an end. I’ll keep here, I’m tired.

Now, about the bass Sample Library: I will soon have it up for you, so you can download the promised samples. It is time already

It will take me aprox. five hours to download a file with one giga byte. A fast and stable connection assumed.

Maybe you can split the archive file into several parts?
So we can download it by and by.

Ahh, I can see a Nestor homepage coming to us soon
