The two pianos, UprightPiano1Beta & UprightPiano2Beta have as the name suggests a Upright piano quality, with piano two having a brighter quality than piano one. The third HonkytonkPiano1 being a more detuned upright.
It's as before velocity sensitive, has a mono output and no controls (attack, decay
and release are preset).
So set to maximum polyphony, add some reverb and play away.
Keep in mind these are a Beta SDK release, comments and suggestions for improvements?.

It has a component of the piano sound, the "sweet" part, but lacks the metallic string sound that is the other component for a more realistic acoustic sound. If you find out how to model that part too it could become a great device.

I haven't tried the devices (I'm without my Scope system at the moment), but since the foundation is already there, wouldn’t it be cool to take these devices further and make some kind of electric piano device, kind of Lounge Lizard?
I'm not a developer, nor do I have access to SDK, so my guess is that it won’t be easy, but as I said, it seems the base is there.
Just a thought.

That would be cool. A decent EP would be something new and possibly a valuable addition to the platform.

If you are looking for a really new sounding Electric Piano, which takes FM DX200 sounds even further, check out Celmos Bluewave. This is a very underated device IMHO. I use GS3 Orchestra w/ Scope so my EPs are all covered very nicely thanks to Scarbee, and FM Encyclopedia. But Celmo sent me an expanded version with 16 voice polyphony that is the prettiest EP that I use. It flows like electric water w/o all that added chorusing most presets seem to be bathed in.

not that I want to divert the viewers.. full respect to the original post.. but I did a rhodes clone for modIII a while back, which sounds quite decent to me, even compared to the nord electro and scarbee samples. I can assure you it's the best Rhodes emu for the Scope platform, for the time being.

These are both quite unique, but I need my polyphony. Let's get back to the acoustic emu for a minute, sorry I tend to drift. This by itself is missing a minute component of string as Alfonso so acurately described, however the sweet spot is truly beautiful when added to my Vintaudio Upright samples. I hate adding chorusing to an acoustic instrument but this dev. adds a great sweet natural detuning effect to my upright that I use on songs that don't need a Grand Piano, but rather saloon/gunsmoke sound. So I thank you sir for a dev. that I now use everytime I play my uprights.

Thanks everybody for your comments.
Remember these are just experiments in the SDK and are released in Beta as such. Full devices should improve on them further as my experiments progress, there may be EP piano's as well. I do not know at present how to increase polyphony beyond 16.

Since they make my uprights sound so good, I await further strokes of genius from you sir. I can describe the sound like this; my left handed comps and chords while I solo, seem to be alive and well glued together. Strange explanation, but that's what I hear.Thank You again Aries. Try to ask directly to Creamware: the right reference for EP poliphony is the B-2003, that features full poly independant from SFP bar settings.
