Spam and lard for beginners

Only some days ago I knew what exactly spam means... hehe I never expected this though it's a natural name. I was also shocked when I knew the meaning of one group I liked in the past - Lard - for me it sounds solid, rocky and agressive, just try to listen to it without its meaning and you'll understand it
