Sorry for this topic, it's possible it was discussed earlier, but because of the huge number of topics here it's pretty hard to find one which can solve that problem.

I just bought used Pulsar 2 from Ebay with the Creamware activation keys for some software and found out that the installation CD runs only on Windows 95/98. Left it out and ran the included CD with Scope Platform 4, tried to install it, but my computer crashed already at the beginning of the installation, tried it again and every time got that crash sooner or later. Can somebody explain me what is happening? Does this older Pulsar version run on XP? If so, what do I need to start the software installation?
Are there any XP drivers for this card available on any page? And why is the Scope Platform installation not successful? Downloaded it from the Creamware site later, but got the same results. I would be very thankful for your comments.

the card should work just fine. the driver is in the download you just got and it's great with xp. did you install the driver first? also, do you have the keyfile for scope 4.0? if not you can get it by writing to rb[AT]creamware.de

a freshly installed operating system is always a good idea...aside from that, it's really hard to say what your problem is without a much more detailed description of your hardware and the steps you've taken....

I sent a message to Creamware support regarding the activation code for the Scope Platform 4, but still didn't get the answer. Is this code for free? I bought used Pulsar 2, but can I ask for free Mix/Master or Synth/Sampler code in this case, like usual Scope Project owners can?

the key is free.
you won't get additional software for free.
