"As for the hardware version - please note, I've started a mailing list for those who are interested in the future progress of some form of a hardware Solaris. For those of you who weren't at the fair to sign up for thge list, please send me an email at Solaris_info @ johnbowen.com. I will then update you as things progress."

FRA59,
No news yet....the real problem as I see it is that the current ASB hardware would require significant changes to the Solaris (even Solaris CORE) structure. Also, there's more issues to be decided, such as market-worthiness of my Solaris design. What the Solaris does best may not be really what would sell a lot in its current configuration, so....either I design something really completely new, or wait for future hardware, but I'm still looking into it.
cheers,
john b.

John,
What type of hardware change:
- need for displaying things (waveform for the osc, filtertype)?
- way of managing page change (OSC, Filter, EG & LFO)
- other issues
If you are thinking about building up something new to fit the ASB hardware features, discussing the type of design on this forum could perhaps help you ...
Behing professionnaly involved in electronic design on an other market, maybe I could help...
Keep us informed.
