loving litestep, ain't ever going back

Here's a screenshot. Don't see much of it? That's cos that's what I want it to be. My mouse (mx700) has plenty buttons, and middle clicking takes care of switching between applications. Right-Click on the desktop for my own menu, composed of Computer and Desktop Browser, XP's Start Menu, etc.

Give yourself a couple of days to configure it. Make it as bloated as you want, I choose for a more minimal approach. No multiple desktops, no plugin modules, just barebone is plenty for me. I also configured keyboard shortcuts to start my most commonly used applications, right-click any item in Start Menu > Programs for that, no need to do that through litestep, windows has that built-in...

If you don't like your litestep configuration, it's simple because you didn't configure it to your liking

Thanks for this! Never been a huge fan of Litestep (although I haven't tried it since the win98se days *shudder*), but this one is awesome.

I've used Aston ( http://www.astonshell.com/ ) for years and wouldn't use anything else. Unfortunately it's not free although I think there is a free demo.
