Converts audio input into midi note messages.

To make usage simple, there's a lot of automatic adjustment happening in background. This way there's no need to adjust hysteris, gate, attack, etc. as long as the input level isn't much lower than -30 dB.

I think the only parameter to explain is sensitivity, which controls the analyze window and is therefor some kind of treshold, at which level the note-on event is triggered. It controls the length of the midi note as well.
Aah, well .. you are able to rename the device as well by clicking on the title ..

The full version will be part of the MidiToolBox and will have additional features like random note output, a possibility to extract frequencies (and therefor i.e to just use the kick, bass, snare or hihat of a complete mix to trigger other stuff), an insert, access to some internal settings, midi out cannel selector, an audio level to velocitiy converter, a monitor output (for listening to the audio stream, which controls the trigger) & midi control.

Have fun !
Wolfgang

Looks very interesting as always Wolf  Can't wait to try it.

Does it track pitch modulation (like guitar string bends) and output appropriate pitch bend MIDI messages?

Somehow the image wasn't there ..

It doesn't react on pitch .. yet.
pitch bend modulation via midi might be possible with some dirty hacks then .. I don't know, as it doesn't react on pitch right now :-/

Thanks Wolf, this is a cool little device. The pitch change recognition Darkrezin mentions would be a very cool addition too!!

Cheers,
