LC1 design, different versions

NEW UPDATE-PACK WILL ARRIVE SOON!
This is another dimension.
Describtion:
For any value you can activate (left buttons) Envelope Following - controlling (potis on the right), set it's controlling direction (right buttons) (adding or substrating values) and it's intensity (potis in the middle).
It's not so difficult - you will see the parameters moving.
I found the normal CW-comps allways sounded very hard and dead. LC1 is the easiest way to achieve smooth, soft and living compression!
Martin
UPDATE:
Stereo Thermometer added.
I have problems in cunjuncting the graphics. Beside some small graphic-bugs I didn't manage to put Thermometers to a fixed position and just turning them on & off with yellow button... hmmm... Hope somebody can help me. First time you switch it on&off they are suddenly very high on my monitor. There has to be a possibility to save the x&y position values for screen position on startup, but how?
Btw. "normal" meters open by right clicking on the device and opening that panel.
UPDATE 4:
Graphics now move together. Sometimes they are not "synced". When you turn the thermometers on&off&on&off and move the device they should jump to their position.
I'm still working on that. Don't know, why they sometimes start from another position...
UPDATE 5:
Just one little buggy thing left: When first opening you have to move the surface of LC1 a bit. Thermometers will jump to their position.
UPDATE 6:
Hm. The last may not be the best one, so all 4 versions are in the package ;o). It's really nice, not to be a professional, so I don't have to care if my update-policy is profissional... I know, it's anything, but NOT professional!
I like those wheel-potis in the last version, because now it's 100% "Ruhrpott* style" but all in all I like the second version (the funky green buttons) most.
* Ruhrpott is the region in germany where I actually live. There is much very old heavy industry around.

Erminardi,
no, I did not change the circuit!!! It's 100% optical work... But yes, with the new look me too thinks that it sounds better. Strange, isn't it? Yesterday evening I spent 15minutes just fascinated watching the device and listening to the fine music which came out of it... I was listening with my eyes too and I really had the impression, that it sounds better than the first design.
- Optics change sound - In the future I will have to spend more time with grafics...

Yep, I'm a grafic designer, I absolutely know that...On 2006-08-04 02:16, MCCYRANO wrote:

(look Digital Audio Soft's "fashion" effect...

Howewer I thik I had some problems with old LC1 because I heard some distortion in out signal. Now it's oll ok, maybe it was only a bad Scope session...

Ah, I should have said that: All has it's limits. Don't push the gain too hard with movements. If movement becomes too fast and wide, you will hear some distortion to the signal (it's because it has to go through too much values at ones). If you use it in a movement-range of lets say 3dbs it's fine. I did not have such problems with the other values so I think wide movements are fine there, but I'd be careful.
For sweet sounds you don't need very wide movement.

I tried Eminardi's approach by placing in synth's main out. I place it in the 4th AUX Buss adding it to the synths that have jumpier db's in their outputs. Not sure why, but it adds cream to all my coffees. It really sweetens up my synths like softclip, only better.

I began design after finishing the circuit. I haven't found a bug after that. If there is a bug I'll have to decide to throw out the buggy versions.

When I fix a bug in multiple similiar devices, it's quite easy, btw. Like batch processing...
