would be cool if someone could emulate this one....

I love that aggressive sound...

okay for ~450€ it`s also very affordable as hardware....

yes, a nice thing.
I miss a sample/hold (with/without glide) function at the LFO, like the Virus has.
I use that often.
The price however makes that more than good!

Are they not still trying to sell them tho?

Maybe a little soon for an emulation :???:

...Unless MFB were interested of course

yeah they are still selling ...

but is this a problem if someone creates something similar with scope atoms?

I love the rough sound of this one...

If you're looking for ruff sounds : http://www.track0.com/wavelength/devices.html

Also ask John Bowen for synths demos ... etc

Lot of things have been already done if you look at all the talented third parties.

Hi hubrid,

the virus is a good sounding synth, but somehow I think it sounds like "the standard" reference. Not bad but, everyone is using the virus, if you use it too, you will sound exactly like the rest of the electronic producers...

Also I think Virus sounds somehow to clean and in a way boring....

So I am no VA virus freak....

I like the CW minimoog most. Its so flexible you can get more different sounds from it than from 10 different vstis

But I think I still need some real analog synth... There is still a little difference between analog and CW stuff....

And I love all CW stuff... Its way ahead the VSTi's, which ATM all sounds thin...

But a real analog still has little more aggression in the sounds....

like the MFB...

@decimator: the wavelength things are also very cool...

I tried all the demos, but still miss some fatness...

What about a VA->Analog Insert FX...
lol

those are the things to consider indeed, but I got my one (Virus-A...) as one of the first in Holland
Should have scored a hit years back, now it's too late

Shouldn't be a problem so long as it's not an 'emulation' and isn't otherwise too similar in terms of spec and looks. It would be cool to have a really 'dirty' sounding analogue tho.
