What a great little synth for bass and leads and even thunderous FX. I managed to get a little work done with these two mixed in SFP into a really FAT BASTARD. The SE-1x is limited, but very fat and buzzy since it is real analog. ProOne seems to soak up it's fat when mixed right. A really great Mono beast now. The swells are quite fat, and the leads are very controlled when matching the ADSR's and portamentos. WC seemed to have got the lag processor sounding super accurate, as most virtual synths usually lack in this area. I let one synth lag behind the other in respect to portamento values, and can get that incredible FATness so easily attainable in the Oberheim family of synths. It's quite a treat. I betcha John Bowen had something to do with this baby.

slow it down a bit, Jimmy...

you will need something to rise tension after this series of gigs, they will demand MORE - and it would be too bad if there's nothing left because you put it all in the first shot
cheers, Tom

John's pro one was the reason I got into creamware in the first place. And I'm so glad I did so thanks John

But I don't think Wine Country offers ProOne anymore, right?

Wine Country can suck my ass, I stay with ZARG when it comes to recreations of Sequential Circuits. This FAT BASTARD came with my new Type I 15 DSP card, along with Prodyssey, and Profit 5? They all sound good but I prefer the ProWave over Profit 5, it sounds like they made money off somebody or something calling it that. This ProOne is a perfect combination with the SE-1x, each one has what the others don't, and the slightly off time of the lag processors is to die for. This is now my supreme MONO beast live. It really has some serious cahones! Thanks again John. It seems like whenever I have analog juice flowing from my speakers your name is on it. This started back in the early eighties till now. How old are you? You better not croak on me, I'm just getting started.

You are right my friend. And speaking of croaking, I shall die on my keyboards, like a Samurai on his sword. If it happens tomorrow, so be it. I have had the best trim any white man could dream of, and now the FATTEST BASTARDS ever created at my fingertips.

I Like Tourettes,
That is groupies right Sharc? Las Vegas is a giant city filled with tourettes then. You guys should hook up with me if you ever come to Las Vegas. I am a happily satisfied man these days, but I was a serious contender 10 years ago. I am surprised I haven't contracted something.
I am picky though, and there is alot to pick from here. Well enough on that topic, there is not enough memory in the server.
Piddi if I was you I would play the lottery, or a friendly guns on the table poker game.

Why doesn't Europe have a place like Las Vegas? I meet guys from Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Bosnia, Croatia, and all the other X-Soviet bloc counties. Why not England, France, Germay, Netherlands. The average pay for a basic blaa, blaa, band is 50 large cash USD per year. This is bottom pay here. Any musician who loves live performance should move here and thrive. Plus if you like cocktail waitresses you are in heaven. The worlds largest concentration of strip clubs, my God you guys should at least consider visiting. Then you will know first hand why I call the girls in the casinos, waittail cocktresses.

Sorry about our poor taste, I was more concerned in the way thousands of musicians make a good living. Do you play music for a living? That was my concern, it seems such a surplus of talent in Europe, and not an abundance of gigs. I prefer the fake Eifel Tower, as it financially supports many of my brotha' musicians, and paid me a handsome salary for 3 months last year. I doubt the real Eifel Tower would ever have me performing there. I only wish that more of my European brethren could make a living just performing and having their talents showcased, that's all.

Musicians can make a good living in Las Vegas & New York but most of the US is lagging way behind Europe in this regard. The live scene in LA is a joke. A strange thing about Europe is that cover bands are huge over there; if I remember correctly, the richest band in Sweden is a cover band. That's saying a lot when you consider Abba & all the other big pop acts that have come out of that country.
As far as gambling goes, the European casinos are stuffy & boring. I usually do pretty well in Vegas but do terribly over there, simply because I tune out & lose interest.

I do fairly well at the tables in Las Vegas. My Matrix 12 was a gift from the Hilton when I worked there. But I have a good creed I follow, I don't take any chances. I pray to Mohammed, Buddah, Jesus H. Christ, Thor, Zues, and several other diety's and usually one of them answers. The LA scene is a serious joke due to the severe laws that the liberals in California have passed in recent years. To make money owning a club is near impossible unless you have a State Liquor Control Agent in your pocket, and a non smoking, veggie burger crowd, with a low paid DJ. Then maybe you might break even. SoCal is so much of a socialistic state now. You really must visit San Francisco, as it's clubs are rockin' 24/7. But Vegas, Reno, Tahoe, Carson, and Laughlin all pay top dollar for live music. I sure enjoy not being everyone's sideman anymore. But the right phone call could change all that, as I bargain from a position of strength and quality of sound. I simply have the management match my current salaries, and add perdium plus 10%, that usually gets a big fat ....Fuck You Jim. So I will stay here and get fat playing SFP / Giga, and producing live little hussy bands.
