help!! cubase sx wont let me save in xtc mode!

hopefully you guys can help me out!
when im working in xtc mode and say i load in minimax or pro 12 or any other creamware instrument ,i record the parts as normal no problem,then i go to save and i get an error message saying"can't save, used up all dsp" or something like that,when i close the creamware instruments down it allows me to save again.
i have a pulsar 2(6dsps),i mean i know the creamware synths are hungry beasts but cumon;)
its a right pain in the bum,i have to export all the audio as im writing so i can save
any ideas?
