I hope you enjoy the sound of this device as much as I do.
Regarding doing more, no I will not do anymore, so this will be a collector's item in the future

I love using this as a master-bus compressor. It adds s**t-loads of punch if I want it to.
Great to see this update!

I'd love to have a mono version of this.

The version you already have is mono/stereo switchable with about 95% DSP unload of the right side when switched to mono. If dropped in your mono effects folder it should also load in mono insert slots. Anyway, hopefully musurgio won't mind me posting this mono only version. It saves you 36 dsp cycles when compared to the existing version in mono mode, so if you were inserting one on every channel of a mixer it would be saving you a fair bit of dsp power.

				Thanks

. Ill give it a try.
I thought about your mono-DSP unload thing, but what would happen if you do put one on every channel. Upon project loading, won't it first load up as a stereo device?
Would lead to awkward expired-DSP errors.

Well if it causes any problems I'm sure there would be a way to fix them. Might just be that the dsp load toggle needs saved in the preset & parameter lists. On saying that, you now have a mono only version, so I guess that a stereo only version would avoid any issues. It could even have dual mono controls in theory. (not that I'm saying I'll build such a thing)

Btw, that new mono version is only very briefly tested by me & should probably be considered a beta, so if you find any issues just report them here.

				Uh, why, because of excess?

Mono version seems to run fine. In XTC-mode too. Thanks for a really quick response on this one

yeah, basically. CW must have set out the Scope effects system to work with separate mono & stereo modules for this reason. It's quite obvious & I'm sure I've subliminally known it all along.

Thanks Shroomz for taking care of my baby here !!
I really do appreciatte this.
I only wish I would have a scope bord to continue working on pugins based on tape/tube/compression things.
Anyone has a scope pro board to trade for ??

Dimitrios

No problem at all musurgio, this is just a mono version of the same device..
TBH, I don't use it myself, but this was a relatively easy mod. I certainly wouldn't release an 'update' of your device without your permission.
best regards,
Shroomz

popped this on kick me2 yesterday and this really appeared to tighten the bottom end and add plenty of punch, ideal for the majorly compressed dance music I seem to be engineering atm.
Will analyze it a bit more but first impressions are very impressive.
I tend to be using the user developed freeware more than my paid for stuff nowadays, this along with Shroomz' tubestrip will become the main part of my scope now.
Good work, I hope you get another card and kep developing, it's a shame you can't charge small amounts on these devices to fund your time and effort (and the cards) this compliment is aimed at Shroomz too as tubestrip is excellent and is much quicker for me to eq on than the normal eq's (it reminds me of my old mackie desk for some reason combined with my TLA eq's that use the same valves)
cheers
Dave
