For $125 sale price this summer, I think this device is essential kit for anyone who doesn't have an STS sampler yet. Anyone with a Luna frusterated with software samplers owes it to themselves to at least download an STS demo from the shop.
Even though the STS3000 has limited outputs, voices, & modulation routings compared to it's bigger brothers, Creamware has recently added the option to upgrade to the 4000, or to the 5000 directly (it seems to me it's a better deal to upgrade to the 4000, then the 5000 (same price either way) so you get all the STSs for the right situation, unless I'm missing something here?)
