any comment is much welcomed,

NOTE: there are some pops and clicks so please don't listen at loud volumes, the track is limited though.

Best regards and thx for feedback

Nice little groove you got there. Smooth sound.
I'd use a different scale for the portamento lead, or atleast switch back and forth between several scales/modes. I think straightforward pentatonic is a little corny since the line is pretty relaxed. Just personal taste though. Also, a transition to a different sounding B pattern might be cool just for variation.

Thx Hubrid and Kensuguro,

i thought myself that the lead is a bit korny, but if it gives a relaxed feeling i guess it's ok. I didn't want to complicate too much because the chromatic bass line already provides a lot of harmonic motion. As far as the B part goes, it's a bit conceptual- if you listen carefully to 2nd part after fade out/ fade in there is different treatment of the lead, and I hear some weird space mangling effect in an overall stereo picture. I don't know maybe it's just my imagination. I played with interpol a little and mixed it back to "clean signal". But i do it intuitively. Not much knowledge there :-? Anyway that's why i consider the part two as a different story- especially with the screaming resonance ending.

Take care

you should try a better solution for that fade in/fade out trick anyway :-)
you could try it more musically (a weird technoide break, delays, dieing notes, heavy fx, etc.), with the same functional ehrm...function :-D

kinda fits my taste nicely, relaxed groove for home or bar/lounge bg use. at the time being, tho, I have a feeling you haven't plotted out where to take the track idea, arrangement-wise. same issue sticks on me all the time, too.
for the self resonant sound in the end, I would suggest limiting the modulation range to reduce the stair stepping of the controller value, unless that is exactly the effect you desired.
more relaxed stuff with guitar, like the one I put up here short ago, too. imho, you can never have too much relaxed sound. keep it up!
:D
