Hello Creamware Masters.

strange problems with my creamware card are happening
all i get is the Right Channel --> mono
but I don't know why

I deleted all mixers etc. . to minimize the problem

so, what I know have is totally strange

My Creamware connection is

Wave Source 1 LOut ------------------->Lin Luna Analog Dest
Wave Source 1 ROut ------------------->Rin Luna Analog Des

The right channel is working, the other not
so, when I play a mp3 with winamp or anything else, I only have one channel
there is no mixer and or any other devices

and YES, I have an Stereo Cable plugged in in 1 Output from my Creamware Card.
so, I'm totally lost with this problem

please help:

did you try to connect the cable part that seems to work to the other (silent) half of the stereo out?

i don't understand (maybe my english is a little bit shit javascript:emoticon(':D')
javascript:emoticon(':D'):) )

the cables are ok if you mean that.
when I switch them, all "left" of the stereo is good

or did you mean the 2nd Output from the soundcard?

it's a way to check the physical out of your card.
If both of the two stereo out give signal with the 'working cable' then you're sure it's the one end of the stereo cable which is wrong, or at least what comes after that cable (amp input etc.).

You need to find out where the problem is located.
The cable change part trick is one of the tricks to find the problem in the whole chain, from start to end.
It's therefor also way of thinking about how to solve a problem.

He means to eliminate the potential problems you need to try the working cable (right) on the left output of your card. Do you get a sound? If so then the left output is working. If not then you have another problem.

i can't remember, does the Luna card have separate jacks for the outputs or is it a stereo splitting jack? If it's the latter you won't be able to do the cable swap trick we just described. However, you can swap the virtual cables in the Scope window so that L>R and R>L and see what happens.

If you put a mixer between the Wave Source and the Analog Dest can you see left and right channels on the VU meter (ie. is the Wave Source module outputting stereo?)?

okay,

configuration

I have 1 Input and 1 Output on the Creamware Luna Home Soundcard
+ 1 Cable - 6.25mm Stereo-Klinke to 2 Chinch

1.test

I tested both IN/Out Puts of the soundcard
1 is working and the other is not working. so it seems that 1 is input and one is outout (Both Stereo)

2. Test
I put the cable in the working one output.
then I switched the right (red) and left (white) Chinch cable
but the strange is, that I always get the LEFT one

Why?

yes, in the mixer there is a stereo signal
and there is STEREO switched on

I have an Outout on left_mix Channel and on the Right Mix Chanel
but on the Luna Analog destination only the L- is working

If sound is coming out of both cables, but you only ever hear something on the left, then it might be your monitoring system: the amp, the speaker, the wires to your speaker - check them all - do both speakers work with say a CD source through the same amp?

yes, Mr. A is correct. if sound comes out of both sides of the y but only one side of the amp, the speakers, speaker cables, amp/preamp are where the problem lies....
