Scope Snares/Percussion!

Ok! After years of learning scope I am discovering more and more the amazing sound I can get out of it!

After drewling over layered synths with unision and crazy morphed panning over several synths I decided I need this for my basic percussion also......

Drewling Snares! I think good reverb adds alot, and I have the P100 and will prolly get the DAS reverb also.

I remember there was one modular patch which made good snares!

On thing I will try is to combine several percussion modules/devices and layer them or play them randomly to add unexpected Scopeness all over the place.

Please post your Scope snare/percussion suggestions/devices/patches/sample libs/..... below :)

Do you program your drums & percussion from a sequencer or record live midi data?

ATM I use samples only within the sequencer. But the whole idea is to use more scope, so also more midi.

edit: maybe in the future I will record live midi data using pads & stuff. now I only do modulation live with midi controllers. so everything comes from the sequencer.

If you have Flexor1 a lot of time ago I did a snare modular patch that reproduced on the keyboard the same movement you make on a snare hitting from the center to the sides changing the sound from a central key going up or down from it, so moving the hands away on the keyboard is like moving the sticks the same way.

Ah yes I remember that patch alfoson! Cant believe its so old already ;)

Ok I think I have enough snare patches and modules now to try to make some cool stuff.

Haven't used FL in years, but I can recommend the ZAM sample players by MCCY. The modular one is cool. Akai patches inside modular2/3... ooh la la. :D
