connecting the insert fx

I'm having trouble connecting the insert fx, I am building a frequency splitter but I want an insert on each freq, I'm not sure how to connect it. Is it under path in the vars? If so how do it tell it where to connect?

basically same thing, i have this one too, I just want to insert an on off switch for each band, really just messing around, getting more familiar with sdk, but I'm lost on how to route the inserts, thanks for any help

got it figured, I totally missed the proper insert atom altogether, working now
