Creating a system disk on a Windows XP SP1 non floppy PC

Is it possible to create a system disk on a Windows XP SP1 PC that has no floppy drive? Seems like it is only possible to create a system disk using a floppy drive. 
I think I might invest in a floppy drive after reading your link though - a floppy drive would make creaing a system disk easier and, more importantly, less likely to fail when used. Would you agree?
