Sharc's C4T Monosynth

Post by dawman »

What about this FAT BASTARD.

I did some 80's type stuff using the C4T as lead, and the SE-1X as bass.

Expression Pedal is MIDI'd to the Fc, and the ModWheel's attached to the Q Factor.

This synth doesn't need to have poly added, it's a Monosynth, and it's modulations allow the drifting / detuning of the Oscillators so it sounds quite good as an analog emulation.

Afterall to record with an SE-1X you have to be a fierce predator, or your weak qualities will surely be overwhelmed by the analog drippy, buzzy FATNESS.

The trick to playing monophonically is to always hold down one note so you can have the glide levels low, and the envelopes running freely. Short attacks without holding down the notes will let you hear these snappy enevelopes re triggering which is also way cool.

This Dog'll Definately Hunt.
