I Likes It,

At 3:05 what delay/Reverb were you using on the synth?
It reminded me of Celmos Stereo EchoreQ 2.

Live 'eh.
Glad to know you're in the fight.

Very very nice!
Love the oldschool breaks and drum programming. Nice freaking manipulations. I can listen to this for hours, so to speak ;)

dnb all the way. strange how the dnb vocabulary sort of specified itself as this... "the oldschool", and the from there on sort of shot out into different directions. I never was into dnb, so it's hard for me to tell. But I liked this piece.

Well I was referring to oldschool because of the used "oldschool" Amen break and some other classic drumloops out of the funk era. That sounds quite typical. But as I said, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that IMO, I still like the chopped up offbeat patterns, avoiding that 4 to the floor beat. In contrast with the more recent "non-oldschool" breaks (often electronic drumsounds with repetitive, more sterile patterns) which I also can appreciate, when I'm in the mood for it :)
But I find the terminology (did I write that correctly?) somewhat confusing, oldschool dnb and Jungle are for me actually the same. But what's in a name? As long as it sounds cool, doesn't it? ;)
