Multi device setup help

This might sound like an obvious question but I've never done this before.
To send multiple channels of digital audio from my Mac to my PC which has an Xite-1 connected - I just connect the ADAT out from the Mac interface to the Xite-1 in and vice versa?
My second question is, if the two interfaces are connected in this way, is it possible I can use the Mac interface's analogue inputs and outputs through ADAT from Scope even though it's still connected to the Mac via Firewire?
