NOK Hold Me

Post by bassdude »

A snippet of a song. All instruments are real (no synths or samples). Vocals are guides. Entirely mixed in scope v4.0 with mostly stock effects apart from Timeworks Vintage EQ and the old Timeworks ezverb which I keep coming back to for some reason even though I have the very nice masterverb pro and p100! Scope is so old but I love how easy it is to get depth and separation. This track is just the two bus out and not mastered.

I like all kinds of music but I wish there were more genuine bands recorded with scope posted here to show off it's capabilities because it is somewhat underrated as an alternative to protools etc!

Whoops! I can't take credit for recording this band. Only the mix of this version. My apologies if I misled. This was recorded over in LA. On the original mix there was a lot of focus on the use of tape and more tape and compression and subsequently the master came out rather dull. This project was to transfer the 2" multitracks and re-mix plus re-record parts e.g. vocals. The other recording I posted was recorded in scope.
