also, is that just chorus on the bass for the space effect? Sounds like a er or a static delay. Nice roomy sound, works great on headphones.

Thanks bro. No effects on the SE-1 except a mono split device that adds a little sample delay.
The Swept LP1 Filters from Solaris are the rhythm, and the lead is a clean Minimoog emulation, but the mod wheel brings in a seperate PBend value like a 2 string Guitar bend and also cranks up Distortion at the same time.

I wrote the tune since I have few Orchestral and Dance skills.
It's in 6/8 with 9/8 tag on the verse, and the chorus is 6/8 with a back beat feel for Upright, even though I lack those instruments.

Of all people to hear the semi Koto lick during the solo, I should have known it would be you.
The Root is C on that part.
The scale using a 12 note section would be 1/2/4/5/7/8/10/11. I haven't found a name for it yet but consider the Root as 1( C ), C# as 2, D# as 4, E as 5 and so on.
It's part whole tone, part half diminished, so maybe you know it's name.

I have much to do with reversing audio and special wind , helicopter effects as it is a scene of a helicopter flying through Artic canyons, and the Managing / Owner likes it so the engineer is making sure he has to do as litle work as possible, a real rock God putz who drinks too much...

ya, a typical japanese scale would be going up 1, 2, 6, 7, 11, and can throw in a 4 on the way down. Do it as a quick strum with a koto and a bright plucky synth, and add a bunch of reverb, and you get the Vangelis Bladerunner strum. (you may know that already) And throw in the sound of factory chimneys exploding with flame. lol

They are good for Reed work as well as Brass.......

I really liked it Jimmy , most of all the music itself, beyond what sounds you have used or what synths. The drum is not bad at all I think, I mean, it does a great job sounding pretty natural too.

I think that it could be cool to shorten de decay in the bass, so you have more room for the final mix in terms of frequencies, and it would make for a stronguer rythmic section with the drum, but this is my taste, I find the song truly inspiring as is.

Thanks, I am always disliking my fake drums, but mostly during a mix, when they are used in lower energy compositions they sound OK, so I think your idea might help here Nestor.
What device would suggest I use. I have listed below various devices I have that might help.
The Bass on the SE-1X is just so damn powerful and I have adjusted the Decay and Sustain portions of the EG to shape the sound, but they don't really address the dynamics. I probably should have used the Solaris as it has a very powerful/accurate low end with very controllable dynamics.

Several Limiters, but LimFat II does have various slopes other than Brickwall.

Firs I would go with a good compressor and then would use a limiter to cut a bit the end of notes, this should do the job. If anyone has a better idea, please, develop.

Maybe just treating it like a bass..a little vinco comp, or maybe just a bass amp. that usually makes a broader spectrum synth sit in its place in the mix. but I like it as is.
