Hey guys,
I was just browsing the Magma site, and it seems there have been some advancements in Pulsar testing using their PCI expansion boxes...
<from http://www.magma.com/index2.html>
MAGMA's Development Partner, CreamWare, has just finished their testing of a digital audio solution and the 2 slot chassis. CreamWare successfully tested 32 tracks at 24 bits/96 kHz. Francis Mandin, Director of CreamWare, states that the 2 Slot CardBus PCI Expansion System provides "the most compact and most powerful digital audio studio available on the market". Thank you Francis, we think so too!
CreamWare's System Configuration: Dell(tm) Inspiron 3700 (P 3/500) with 256M of RAM - Windows 98 SE - MAGMA's 2 Slot Expansion System chassis - CreamWare Pulsar (2) boards (8 DSP 40 in/out).
<end quote>
So it seems some testing has been done, with favourable results! Has anybody else had any experience with using this type of setup with either a PC or a Mac?
