Really sad to see you leave us! I'm still halfway translating the LoP lessons in ModIV patches, your work and contributions have been an inspiration.

I'm only hoping your leaving our community to buy yourself a real serge modular rig and take polaroids of your patches

Just saw your post Roland. On the one hand great to hear about your future plans and wish you every success with that. But also very sorry to hear you are leaving us. As others have said in their posts, you have made a huge contribution to this forum and your knowledge perticularly on modular synthesis wil be surely missed.

Maybe, just as an idea, hold off selling the Xite-1 and keep it just as a hobby for now, then if things change again you will be able to return here again as before....just a thought, haha

Thanks, I might do that.
I'm not in a hurry to sell it. It is more that I will not have time enough to really, really work with it. I need 1 year with the new toy, after this I will have more time and I'm not in need for the money.
And I like this forum!

IMO, in this case, Sonic|Core should contact you, I think you may be an important endorser/reference for old and new customers, to promote the power of this platform around the world with gigs and workshops.

Now, what can possibly be more interesting than an XITE and Modular 4?

Of course, one couldn't use modules of one with the other, or only via midi and audio...?

it's unfortunate, but if it's what you want and/or need to do, it's got to be for the best. who knows? you may want another one some other time.
