Pulsar doesn't seem to be able to read AKAI CD's in my SCSI burner.
With my IDE CDR, it works fine though.
Is this a problem due to SCSI or WIN2K? (or both???)
Well, it doesn't matter for me since I've got an IDE CDR, but for the others who have only SCSI CDRs, this might be a problem.

Install ASPI layer, even if Microsnot tell you not... It's just a little war between Microshit and Adaptec...

FWIW, this works perfectly in XP final with IDE drives: I am able to browse and load AKAI CD's without problems. Seems to be related to SCSI CDRoms only.

Yes i know. I also have a SCSI HD formatted by an EMU E6400, and was using CDXtract to access it, now in XP, i can burn CDs to SCSI CDRW witout installing any software, but my software (cdxtract, Chickensys Translator) still NEED the ASPI layer to be installed. This is the same with Pulsar.

Ok, I'll try those ASPI layers when I got time.
Anyway, it works fine with IDE drives
