[resolved]windows 8.1 start - scope error
At the starting of win 8.1 I have put scope in the start-menu, there is always this issue :

Scope is not intended to autostart as it needs to run "as administrator".

I have always simple project at startup with windows (minimized).

I have remember that I putted scope in normal mode for the start and only if I have needed VDT Ihad to start in admin mode.

Try like on picture,
I have tried now on my other computer, also running scope, but i didn't have under startup before.
Also make sure that under "Compatibility" "run this program as an administrator" is unchecked (disabled), just leave run as administrator under advanced option.
I have Windows 10 Home and Pro, works on both now with those settings, you said you have 8.1, but i think it's the same.

did you try creating string key , like on picture in registry ?

ok now it works scope is starting at each session of windows but with the error message.
I didn't try the key in register I'll try immediately to know if it's that

when i was trying at first, i also get this missing file, but it has something to do with administrator rights...cause i was just playing around "run as administrator" + registry key, that's all.

It's really annoying, with v5.1 all were right for the boot , now it's worse ... with v7 ...

RESOLVED ! it works but it's the quicklink which has to be in the start menu not only the .exe because there is '-s' in the command line !!!

yes, indeed. you can see that on my pictures, that it was shortcut of scope, sorry if i didn't mentioned that.

fidox picture up here helped me to get autostart working in Scope7.
But the Icon is no longer visible in the lower right corner of Windows 10. Its there, but invisible.

never had such an issue, probably cause i'm using classic shell application (sadly, they have stop development)
