Is it possible to create a wavetable within the Scope SDK?

Or can I use an external tool to do it and use that wavetable in Scope?

Now this is one i am anxious about!

I know that a wave table is an array which you can edit, and fill with 131 values.

imho Vectron is more into the wave-sequencing direction (like the Wavestation), not wavetables the PPG way.
It sounds similiar for the basic sounds are based on that famous Waldorf wavetable set.
Some years ago someone posted a huge amount of single cycle waveforms that could be loaded into Vectron iirc.
Not exactly intuitive, though, as is the whole sound import process into Vectron.

Since W. Palm revitalized his efforts in the IOS domain, I didn't bother much about other sources.
His solutions for iPad are great, yet rarely understood.
Everyone likes the sound, but only few understand what wavetables are about, according to comments in various boards.
You may check Wolfgang's (extensive) videos about WaveGenerator on YouTube for reference.
He's a bit long winded, but there's a lot to be learned about the details of the processing engine and tweak approches.

SampleOsc? I think you meant WavetableOSC?

In Scope, we have several resources for Wavetable Synthesis:
- the Vectron Synth, which is based on the Prophet VS (Seq.Circuits, Dave Smith, John Bowen),
- the Wavetable OSC in Modular, and
- the Waldorf OSC, also in Modular

--Vectron uses (almost) the same wavetables as the Wavetable OSC (127) + has the ability to use own wavetables (also 127); the oscillator mix can be modulated in various ways.
--in Modular's Wavetable OSC you can't use your own Wavetables
--Modular's WaldoOsc is using 64 sets of wavetables, each set has 64 variations of one waveform. You can blend between these variations by using any modulation source.

---PPG (Wolfgang Palm1980)-> Wavetable Synthesis->Wave2(1981)-->Waldorf-->Scope WaldorfOSC
---SeqCircuits(DaveSmoth/JohnBowen1986)->Prophet VS-->Scope VectronSynth

Sounds like the waldorf OSC is the way to go. Would it be possible to make a sample osc loadable wav file out of a wavetable ? Or totally different animals ?

sampleOsc=one shot wave
wavetable=periodic waveform (rather tiny, only few ms)
(of course you can make wavetables into samples by sampling and looping though)

these two features together with wavetable/sample import vectron would be unbeatable

we use the wt in our synths as well, but these are all locked modules, there is no way currently to inject new tables into these modules.

I do have a "wavetable recorder.mdl" and ArrayEditorFlt.mdl for the WT's in my SDK folder, but where these come from.. not sure if they can be distributed. May have to ask around.
Also, John Bowen's Red Dwarf modules have WT with audio that ranges from a few bytes up to nearly 1MB. So I guess these are loaded to RAM, not DSP memory. And he, had to make them one day.
So either these WT's are done using extra atoms that they made or CW provided out of band, or they should be in the standard pack.
