Hi all,
sorry if this has already been covered - can't find anyone mentioning the exact same issue.

I recently upgraded to Scope 7. Mostly things work fine, but there's a problem with the Scope that runs at startup.

When I switch my computer on, Scope starts up and the familiar icon is there in the tray.
However, if I right-click on the menu and select Show, it opens to a completely black screen.

I have to Exit scope and then restart it, and then the project window displays normally.

Anyone seen this or got any ideas to fix it?

i have no idea what version of windows you are using, but the best fix is to not have it auto start at boot up. Just launch it manually once windows (and whatever else loads at startup) is loaded.

v7 should not autostart.

Early on with v7 on a clean install I got a black screen on startup but it was nothing more than a schoolboy error which was corrected by clicking "view --> routing window" - to show the usual routing screen.

OK, thanks all. I've taken it out of startup (win7) and that has 'fixed' the problem. The startup option was still there from the previous (pre v7) install, so I've just disabled it.

We've returned for the 20y-after-release-party

20 years ago I laughed at the Creamware Dealer in Vegas as the price was 5000+ for the Pro Cards.
A few years later I used one because of the GSIF Drivers.

Kids still growing up, so not a lot of time for music, oh,and, you know, work, life, etc, but Scope cards still doing me proud and the little music making time I get keeping me sane!
