Hi all plamet Z users,
I try to install a Luna II with Scope 5.1 64bit software on a win10 64bit PC PCI.
On last installation point there is an error message:
Luna bord found
InstallDriver Error -2
What is the reason?
Thanks for your help.
Ingo

the reason is that v5.1 is not supposed to work in win10.
win10 requires a signed driver, which v5.1 does not have.
you can do install v5.1 in win10 however, google "disable driver signature security win10" for instructions.
because the driver is not signed, win10 will remove the Scope driver every major update to win10, and you will need to reinstall the driver. win10 MUST be allowed to update or you will have problems.
v7 has a signed driver and does not have this problem.

Also note that you can request a temporary license key for version seven to test whether or not this version works better, and rule out that the board is not working as a source of the issue.

yes, a temporary key is certainly avaialble.
that error is because of driver signing, though...

Thanks for you answers.
Ok I thougt if it runs under win7 it works on win10 too.
Is an ugrade to scope 7 expansiv?
Alternativ would be an OS downgrade to win 7 ...
