Plugin Alliance already had them as a 'partner' but the public ownership wasn't announced yet. The rest have been under the same umbrella for a while.
Not sure what to think about Moog being under InMusic, but they do seem active and putting out quality, at least compared to the last time they were under non-Moog ownership.

Since I get Plugin Boutique‘s ads at least 3 times a week in my mail, the whole business seems to run nuts.
Sellout prices everywhere, no opportunity to announce another sale left out.
There is so much sh*t flooding the market... must be tough to get reasonable revenues.

well...more like a boring as hell thing....
could be good for the brand, though.

We started down this road when Yamaha bought Steinberg and Apple acquired Emagic (or I guess you could track back to the decimation of Notator and Opcode even). We’re at the endpoint where iPad apps are scavenging the market.

and Gibson,- when they bought Opcode, rendering Galaxy/Galaxy+ editors, Vision/ Studio Vision and all their MIDI interfaces and drivers useless.
And when they bought Oberheim they did almost the same havoc to the brand.
Surprisingly they still did
AFTER their own experince w/ Norlin.
Anyway,,- what we experience in the music software industry a.t.m. is all about near future "subscription ONLY" model.
I´m already thinking about selling most licences and using hardware instruments, SCOPE, Bidule and a handfull of native plugins only,- some of these possibly freeware,- just because they are good enough.

Imho it‘s not the endpoint yet. There seems to be a huge amount of mini-DSP hardware out there, atm mainly for the pedal and Eurorack scene, way more affordable than the classic Motorola and Sharc (development) environments and low power consumption.
Spin Semiconductor and Electro Smith caught my attention recently.

Boutique has been where it’s at for musicians who want something unique for some tune, agreed.
