when I connect my new a16 using adat port
I can hear a big "ocean of noise" in the mixer.Nothing is plug in the inputs and
the sync is ok.do you have an idea about that?.
Sounds like you may have it setup incorrectly or the gain up really high somewhere in your system? Check your cables, try the A16 as slave to Pulsar. Could also be some ground loop? Anyway, this is not normal, so something is incorrect.
the gain is at odb.I have try 3 differents A16
in the shop and it is allways the same story...
in fact it could be a "serial problem".I just want to be sure that when everything is at odb in the mixer and nothing is plug you can't hear any noise.(sorry for my poor english).
I use 2x A16, too (not Ultras), and there´s no problem at all. The connected machines generate definitely more noise than the converters do. Try different lightpipes, maybe they´re not ok... and check your sync-settings, use A16 as master, that´s more stable
