I connect the note output of a MVC to the KeyF input of a Combfilter module, yet the cutoff frequency won't change when I hit different notes on my controller. Keyf range is set to 100 (or 200 even, whatever). Midi data IS getting through, I have a midi monitor open.
Anybody else had this problem?

works fine here.
you do know you have to turn up resonance to hear any effect from tweaking the filter freq on the comb filters, right? have you tried connecting a constant value module to the keyF input and tweaking it that way? not that this is a workaround, just a troubleshooting step to take when an external controller isn't working as it should.

if your using version 3 software it might be a specific bug, to it.
i'm using version 2 software.

That's a good idea about the ConstVal module as troubleshooting. thanks i'll try that,.
