Hi to all.

Thinking of selling my 2 x SCOPE home ADAT Expansion, currently attached to Luna II cards.
Have no idea what price should I put.
Any recommendations about fair price for those 2 expansions ?

This is useful for the Z-link expander alone.

In 2023, I got a NOS incl. ribbon cable from S|C for EUR 55,49 (plus 19% VAT,- total EUR 66,03).

I had luck, it was the last one they had in stock.

So,- what do you think a used one is worth ?
My guess,- 30-40 EUR plus shipping when tested and in fully working condition.
Did you test everything and do you have the cable(s) ?

Yea, they are still in my 2 computers, it was for connection between them and in use.
Working just fine.
Just 2 caps in each board are missing.

Buyer didn't pay.

So,- if these expansions are still for sale here,- you should make that announcement.
Just because you had bad luck w/ 1 potential buyer, that doesn´t mean all are a##holes here.

I have debated grabbing items like this just to have them on hand when people want them. I'm not quite ready to be our used parts guy, but for 60Eu it's tempting.

If we could Z-link Xite to Scope PCI, I would be on this in a heartbeat.

Sorry to hear you had a bad sale. I hate when people scam you, these scum are everywhere nowadays.

I had a less than perfect trade not long ago when I swapped a perfect condition unbalanced cable whip and in return got a tatty XLR cable whip where the plastic on the plugs had decayed from prolonged UV exposure, and the midi connections were intermittent. What pisses me off is I wasn’t told before hand, but my mistake was to not ask for photos first. Fortunately they do work and a bit of contact cleaner sorted the midi issue, so not quite the same as someone not paying.


Always get the money up front next time.
