I worked with a Sblive with KVRdrivers and I've just change to a LUNA 2.
I don't understand why the SBlive have 2ms latency with no clip and the Luna 2 4ms with a lot of clip !
I have a 1,4Ghz, 40Go and 256Mhz. I don't understand and I can't believe that KVR driver are better than the ULLI system.
Sorry for my english I'm french !

load up 16 tracks and lets know the amount of latency on both

clipping is just caused by incorrect levels somewhere in the chain. maybe the output is too high for whatever it is plugged into?

Maybe he means clicks instead of clip?

Poudom,

Get to the via site and download the latest 4X1 (v4.37v) driver as well as the latency patch. This should work, I got a KT133a chipset and been working at 4ms for the past 2 months. But clicks? usually this is due to a slow HD have you got DMA enabled on it?

Please calm down
I hope this spiral of violence can be slowed down by a rethinking of BOTH sides.
poudom: Please have a search on this forum for "wpcredit". I think this is what you are looking for. But be warned, this thing can also ruin your configuration!!! It takes some time to get into it, but there are reports of successful repairs. Good luck!
Happy pulsaring
Micha

PS.: Andy, the true president is "we want none of these" with 47%. These 20, 17, 16 are just minorities, but THEY rule.

OT continues

I'll be there for the weekend too. We was planning to have some fun, this time there won't be much of a party.

I was in Nice too, during the Euro-top.

I was there for work though.

are those two drives on the same ide channel?if they are they will both operate at the speed of the slowest drive.
