Well i finally gave in and i am now learning DP 3.06, and while its pretty cool and everything, i have yet to get it to save a device i can use in SFP or pulsar3.

I get the surface but no knobs or controls.

the box at the top "go atribute" is set to "surface" for all the controls, but all i can see is some text. the controls that do not show are in the same place in the heirarchy as the text that does show.

this is a new device by the way, not an attempt to convert an old one.

thanks to anyone who can tell me what to do, im sure its something stupidly simple i am missing!

send the surface over I'll have a look or even just one of the knobs.

protect it, your dev is open. or the surface is not optimized ("move" mode gives dotted outline only , your dev is simply not protected).

No this is after it does its "protect and optimise" thing

Oops spoke tolo soon now i can get the controls to appear, but they can not be used, just moved around

Doh.. clientarea mode was set to move. i set it to use. now everything seems fine
