Hi,

I'm struggling with following problem:

My system: Luna II with ADAT-extension (together two z-link-ports) and a Pulsar SRB. I want to connect my A16 Ultra via Z-Link, but I don't get a signal in the mixer.
I can install the Z-Link-sources and connect them, but there is no signal on the mixer. The A16 ultra works fine with the ADAT-Sources, but I want to use Z-Link. I bought several cables (I suggest they are 6 poles, very expensive...), no way.

I testet connecting the power connection to the extension-card - no difference...

Has anybody this configuration working?
Any hints?

There are Luna ZlinkA and Luna ZlinkB modules - both in and out - 4 Zlink modules total. Put them all into your project and be sure you're wiring the I/Os from the correct module (must match the physical IOs of the wires you connect to your A16 Ultra). I have my A16 Ultras connected via Zlink and they work perfect.

shure I connected the Z-ing sources and dest. correctly. I started the pc after this, but I don't get any signals. In XTC-Mode the Z-Link connections are outgreyed.
May be a hardware problem? What kind of cables you're using (brand?)?

Make sure you have the A16 set to slave on to zlink in the syncronisation panel on the unit.

And make sure the sample settings in pulsar are set to master.

Who knows - is capable to connect 2 CW cards via Z-Link (each card installed in separate computer) ???
I think about two PC machines and Steinberg's VST-Link (Cubase SX).

Do NOT try to connect 2 cards with Z-Link !
It doesn't work, and you might even fry the cards...
