I would buy, honestly, the MINIMAX instead!

exactly, the price is completely ridiculous! Ok it has some nice feautures like the touchpad, and the dual-filter, and I'm sure it sounds wonderful. But so does Minimax at a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the price

With that price, at Creamware you can get a complete system, it no longer makes sense to buy a synth of the like, unfortunately for Mr. Moog, but this is the real world. Unless you are a completely out-door artis, playing here and there all the time, like a Jazzman or other people that travel all the time with their instruments without sequencing or other special needs.

I have a friend who is a Minimoog MASTER and he absolutely freaked out at the emulation we get with our soundcards, plus all the possibilities of modulating with a volume pedal at the same time as the mod wheel proper.
Sorry but I think I'll pass on this one...
