Hello

I have a pulsar 1 and an Audigy for SoundFont playing and and also for other programs that don't mix well with the Pulsar...

I used to have them phisycally connected, that is the out of the Audigy going into the Pulsar Analog in... Then SFP 3.1, I noticed that I could use the Sound Card Source device and free up that physical connection for another device...
Well, I took out the cable, added a Sound Card Source in SFP and connected it to the mixer... well, it kind of works... I can hear the output of the card, but it's echoed several times... Thinkking I could have a look somewhere in the signal path ( since the output of the mixer is connected to SPDIF, Analog Out, and Wave dest... I tried to connect the Sound Card Source directly to the Analog out, but it doesn't seem to be possible ( I don't get crosshair).

Has anyone else had this problem ? How did you solve it ?

TIA in advance for your help !

I never had good luck with the SOundcard source/dest modules. In the end I sold the SB stuff as it interfered with PCI performance and I prefer the STS series now.

I connect the physically the spdif output of Augigy front pannel to spdif input of Pulsar and works fine. The sound is exactly the same of Audigy output.
I tried too with Sound Card Source and worked (don't know how), but with an huge latency (1 sec. or so) while playing midi with keyboard and with clicks. Don't recommed it.

Another cute thing about the SB series of cards is it resamples everything to 48khz - even when using the digital outputs! Insane.
