Korg synths (at least the MS2000 I know) have a function that puts the keyboard in a fool proof mode. I don't recall how they call it, but it makes sure certain notes are excluded. You can't play out of tune when the function's active.
Is it possible to create such a note filter/mute device for SFP? I know normally the devices don't output notes, maybe an intelligent combinations of key splitters could do the job? Would be super, presets could pass only notes within a chord etc.
intelligent note filter
it should be implemented a midi module that permits to "retune" the incoming MIDI note envents (and also CC
)
in this way you can use the module also to set different scale (ex. oriental or arabic ones, like NI Absynth)
in this module you should se the cents or semitones (up or down ) used to "retune" a single note
ex (random!)
C -> C
C# -> C#+25 cents
D -> D
D# -> D
E -> E+50 cents
F -> F
F# -> G
G -> G
etc
(like the STS - but not limited to 50 cents!)
