Might be (most probably is) an old question but;
Anyone heard release plans for B-2003 to SFP? Guessing not having released it is a Noah promo trick, just hoping it wont turn into a Xbox/Halo promo thing ( for those occasional gamers
).

the pro one is already minimax quality if not better ! creamware and john bowen ( original creator of sequential circuit analog hardware synths ) work together to do the cem emultation .
the sequencer is inside the device .
there is no insert FX .
I think creamware do some optimization of all their plug ins especially for the noah to increase polyphony . since minimax or pro one eat dsp power like candy .

I think the main differences between the SFP version of the Pro-One and the Noah version are that the graphics were redesigned and they added velocity control. Other than that they're pretty similar. But if you want velocity control on SFP use the Standard Prophet or the Prophet Plus, as they use the same algorithms.
By the way, John has updated all his other synths for SFP (except for Red Dwarf, which he's still working on). I don't know what the upgrade fee is, but they all use the new preset list now. I'm saving my shekels for Solaris, however.

Hhmm.
@ Musikmesse in Frankfurt, CW shown me some noah-devices...
They told me, that this pro one is not the known one. This is the "real" emulation..

according to John Bowen they are pretty much identical, save for some details in the emulation. Also the zarg version will not be continued if/when the NOAH Pro One gets released for SFP.

again, the NOAH and Zarg Pro-One are the same, except for a few details in the modelling and the surface, which was rebuilt from scratch for tha NOAH version. This comes from mr Bowen himself (hope he doesn't mind me quoting him here...)

Why is in the manuel written, that Pro 1 is made by Wine Country??
He is listed there as first 3rd party developer for the noah ???

The Pro One and it's emulations are still the intellectual property of Winecountry/Sequential (
http://www.winecountrysequential.com/) After Sequential Cicuits went bust in 1987, some of the members formed Winecoutnry/Sequential to keep the Prophet synths and other Sequential stuff alive and supported.
John Bowen made the emulation for Winecoutry/Sequential, or it was some sort of Sequential/Zarg collaboration, I don't know the legal details of it. The NOAH pro one is an updated version of the original emulation so technically Zarg/Wincountry are the first 3rd party to develop for NOAH. (even though I think the updating of the Pro One for Noah was done by Creamware themselves).
