here's whats been spinnng the last week:
-amorphous androgynous - the isness (beutiful retro feel by the guys behind FSOL, its not electro at all, more of a 70's feel)
-jimi tenor . higher planes (exentric finnish guy, great music)
DJ Shadow - Diminishing Returns
(this is a mix cd originally broadcast on bbc, then released on a rarish double-cd back (including stickers and posters
. second cd is old rockish stuff, great!)
- a lot of Boards of Canada ( no albums in particular, they're all beloved ones, so they get played a lot)
And last, but not least:
- Athome Project - a feeling of care (tre nøtter til röyksopp remix), an epic remix from röyksopp they dd for a friend of mine. this ditty is three parts, 17 mins long! beutilful stuff!

i'm currently working on composing some music for a videogame in medioeval style, so i collected a lot of songs from europe middle-ages and renassaince (XIII - XVII sec.)... and listen continuously to them!

lots of rap and reggae....also,chinese classical,lots of arabic and persian music,what's that new brazilian thing,tribalistas.....last night was all night guitars on a somali song.it's all getting to be one and the same....right now it's creation rebel.

This is my favourite, too. But lately I've got the latest FSOL (Future sound of London) release in my CD player! This is amazing - they changed totaly their minds! There are still samplers in it but apart of them there are live instruments, lots of vocals, early Pink Floyd/Gong feeling rather than new media gurus!

Fourtet - the latest album which is alright, but not like the first one . . .
autechre Craft 7.30 - pretty boring I thought !
Prefuse 73 - there are some fantastic tracks
El P and Company Flow - the most amazing experimental hip hop stuff, featuring the oh so true 'I am America' (Patriotism) track.
Chopin nocturnes to get me to sleep, Schubert's trout suite to wake me up
This amazing track purportedly by Aphex Twin with an incredible eastern european style violin solo over the top.
And the track I'm writing (over and over again !)
-Paul Martin . . . Messiaen is lovely. I listen to 'From the Canyons to the Stars' regularly - but haven't heard your one . . . must find it !
