Hi,
There have been some talk about switching devices off and unloading the DSP's - Why not use the 'Dyn Voices Of Parent' module??
'0' - Switching the device off and unloading the DSP's.
'1' - Guess what

Or am I missing something???
Cheers
Martin

Hi Martin. Nice to see a fellow /DP user from Denmark, there aren't that many of us

(4 as far as I know)
Anyway, I didn't know that the 'Dyn Voices Of Parent' module could go below one ?

 Hi Kim,
Since you post the thread regarding protection, I imagine that your synth is almost finished

Maybe we should continue in danish

Cheers

 Hi,
Yes, you use the 'Dyn Voices Of Parent'.
I usually use an IF module, and set it to send a 0 if you want it disabled, and a -1 if you want it to use the polyphony set on the Preset List (sending a 1 makes it monophonic, of course, which I will use for things like effects that come after the Poly 16 module).

hey simon!
welcome to the forums (i'll go reassign your earlier device posts that are currently listed as anonymous to onomat)
so, are you posting this switch ex question in the wrong thread? are you referring to this discussion?
anyway, i have a signal switch ex atom in my switches directory. it lets you specify whether it's a one in to many outs switch or many ins to one out switch. and it lets you choose how many is many

if you're missing it, i can email to you.

in fact in the bigmixer'pulsar'
when you switch the inserts on/off the dsp meter doesn't change
now if you delete the audio input cable of these channel the inserts devices loaded are unload form dsp's !!!!!
then the switch on bigmixerV2 is just a bypass.....

 about switching inserts off.
Yes may be you are right it is something that happens in the Big Mixer, i've heard about this before. But in an insert rack for ex, it seems to work fine .
