Is this professional?

- Get Creamware Scope - the system that requires you to turn down the monitor volume when opening new FX units!

GAHonGHA!

It;s your systems fault. I doubt you 'll ever fix it... Now go by something PRo.

I checked the effects manual on decimator, says nothing.
Please refer to the document or page..

micronesia, what do you mean?
I open the decimator without problems....

I don't get noise when I load it as an insert either, even when there's sound playing on the channel (STM2448 mixer.)

I think garyb meant manual more as in "general troubleshooting" section than the actual decimator/effects manual.

nah, my mistake!
i misunderstood. i thought your problem was on startup of the system. i've never had a problem with the decimator making a pop....the graphic eq does though, so i turn down the monitors when opening that plugin. i wish i had a good solution for you....

Yep, GraphEQ is the only one that does that here.

Do both mono and stereo versions pop?

May be a corrupt dev.

What am I doing right?

I have that popping too - would like to find a solution for it.... Strange that only some systems have it!?

Mind you i always think it's foolhardy to insert anything (even hardware) whilst something is playing - you never know what might happen.

Maybe different ulli setting and different asio modules. There may be many factors to be responsible for that behaviour.

For instance, my friend has pops when stopping/starting playing in Logic while I don't have any. In this case our systems differ much (different audio hardware). But this doesn't lead me to any conclusion like pro or no pro...

I can tell you this, i use samplerate 48khz with Scope as master.

No asio modules are active, i am using another soundcard for that. The Scope only acts as a hardware mixer/effect/synth device...
The only communication is via the Virutal Midi drivers & Adat out & in.
