				do we have somthing?
Is it possible to make a .wav-player to play some audio-wave-files directly from scope?
Not through that sound-stealing "asio-thing".
And not so difficult to handle like the sts-player.
wmp/foobar for scope?
With sound like vdat/sts5000?
To master something or only play nice sounding hdd-files!

Thank you for thinking about it.

.wav player here. No recording function. Try using VDAT for recording if you don't have it.

				thanks!
but this player is to complicated. No need for attack/sustain etc. ... It need a midi signal to play.
and vdat dont work yet in v5.
and vdat play only files recordet by vdat - isnt it?

I think you can use the directsound driver module in Scope and then even Windows Media player should see it.

you could make vdat play other waves but you would have to trick it by putting them in a "adat" folder and they would have to be the same bitrate, length and depth as the ones allready there, for example if you wanted to play a wav you would have to crate the folder, create and name 8 WAV files appropriately, and then put your wav in place and with the same name as the first 2..
I would just make a vdat folder (with VDAT) as long as the longest one i would likely play, and then edit the wavs in sound forge or something to replace what exists there with what i wanted to play, Its a lot of hassle though.
hopefully if they update VDAT anyways, they might add the feature to play any wav file as well as the normal 8x tracks operation.

				thank you !
I think direct sound is the same as wave source/dest !?
This is more worse sounding than asio...
And the trick with vdat-renaming-tracks is nice. Ill try that.
complicated - but thats an possibility.
